Dokumentárny film z roku 1992. Trashy záznam z európskeho turné Nirvany a Sonic Youth začiatkom deväťdesiatych rokov. (Nemecko, Anglicko, Holandsko...). Mal som tri roky.
Je to dokument o tvrdej hudbe. Odporúčam.
1991: The Year Punk Broke (92minút) - vystupujú: Sonic Youth, Nirvana, Dinosaur Jr., Babes In Toy Land, Gumball, Mudhoney,...
Sonic Youth začínajú magickou Schizophreniou.

Pred mojim odchodom do USA som pri pozeraní ani nedýchal, mal som miernu nervozitu z tej atmosféry ranných deväťdesiatych rokov. Ako keby som už také niečo zažil.

Niekoľkomiliónové Mesto anjelov na brehu Pacifiku je rodiskom Black Flag a prvej vlny západoamerickej punkovej kultúry. Niekoľko rokov po newyorských Ramones  v Kalifornii vznikla agresívnejšia obdoba tohto štýlu, napríklad sanfranciskí Dead Kennedys. V Kalifornii, v jednom z najbohatších štátov USA, sa popri brehoch Pacifiku od 80. rokov tvorili kapely, ktoré začali hrať tiež veľmi jednoduchý punk, ale hrali ho tvrdo. Na začiatku nového milénia je L.A. stále rodiskom nezávislej hudby punkáčov, skaterov a surferov. >>čítaj ďalej
